Wasn't expecting that, now with pix
« on: May 25, 2011, 19:22 »
I told Ali and Eils you can hear the chick cheep when it's ready to hatch, I really should know by now what my children are like ::)

Eils toddled down the garden on the off chance Star would be having the meal worms she'd been given as a special treat tonight :D

Star wasn't having any of it, she wont be bribed >:(

Undeterred, Eils gently lifted a wing, put an egg to her ear, heard a cheep and felt a beak

She quickly placed it back under Stars wing :D and . . . .

my lav poots are due on Friday to go with the black poots that have started hatching today. The silver millefleur and the mottled buff are due on Monday so we will have to compare photos when they have started to venture out from under their mums (or the incubator in the case of next Mondays hatchings  :D).
Staffies are softer than you think.
