Title: Never a camera at the ready
Post by: splash101 on September 04, 2013, 20:10
Well one of my 11 week old cream legbar's decided to launch herself off the top of the coop and land on the washing line 2 meters up.
The look on her face when she a) she nearly catapulted herself over the aviary but steadied herself and b)when she realised she had nothing to perch onto and was on her way to a 360 somersault whilst trying to grip on for dear life.
A wing clip maybe in order if she tries again.

You may find she feels flying is off the menu for a while after that experience ;)

Wow!  What an experience!  I bet the look on her face was so comical!  She must have been in a panic!  Bless.

Had an episode yesterday that should have been caught on video,
Perky the ex-batt tore herself away from the food dish drew herself to her full height dashed across the lawn and breast barged the ancient Jack Russell i am looking after giving the dog a quick wing slap in the face for good measure.

Ex batt stalked off full of herself and left the JR (whose main diet is chicken) standing there with a WHAT THE ...........     look on her face.

Ex batts have little survival instinct ! :)
