Title: Better late than never
Post by: viettaclark on September 27, 2011, 22:49
Along with loads of you I had a terrrible courgette and pattypan harvest. Then the plants got very bad mildew.
Last year I pulled them all out but I didn't need the beds this year and left them in.
They are all flowering, growing loads of fresh leaves and there are loads of fruit coming!!!
I've fed them and this warm spell should give them a push too so I WILL have a harvest this year!!
Hurray!!!

Plants really are determined to succeed aren't they?   :D

(Except cucumbers --- they are determined to die)

My courgettes get mildew every year on the leaves but it doesn't seem to affect them.
They are one of my most successful and reliable crops!
