Local chippy get their fish frozen and in plastic bags. Would make sense as I am sure their chips aren't from real potatoes.
I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!

Good news is that the leeks are happy in their cat litter trays. So much so I went back and bought a few more and got some weird looks but who cares.
Bad news is that didn't make it to the chippy.  :(

I have been saving the plastic cartons off my mince washing them and using these to stand pots in and also start off seedlings ... Recycling at its best  :D Neva thought of using cat litter trays ...

I certainly won't be buying seed trays anytime soon as the cat litter trays are cheaper and much more robust.... And three trays from poundland fit perfectly into a root trainer racking system.

Disaster!  Planted in the old litter tray, put on windowsill .  Sadly cat was confused, and now I come to think about it I can't really blame him.  Made a right mess though and I'll have to start again.

I've got an indoor rabbit that is litter tray trained and hadn't thought of what could happen. So far, no problems but thanks for the heads up!!
