Hello,
« on: January 31, 2019, 21:02 »
Been gone a while (off this site) and am hoping that its ok to come back.

So whats new ??

Looks like it might be easier to post photos - that's good :D and to use smilies - always liked them.  Nice to see some familiar names still.

I have still got a plot, but much has happened in my garden in that all privet hedges have gone (120 foot down both sides) so I no longer have to chop them  :D :D :D,  this happened last year so the garden is being redone and now there is much work to be done.  The green house is currently acting as OH's shed as he has now got a really big one and its being insulated at the moment. He needs to get a move on as I want to get the green house ready for seeds.

feels good to be back .

Hiya Lulu... good to see you again! Sounds like you will be really busy in the garden this year.. at least you can still escape to the plot when you need to though  :D :D

Really looking forward to spring and getting stuck in at the plot, I have many many seeds to sow being a seedaholic.

I can't believe my avatar is still working - amazing.

Hi Lulu. It's lovely to see you back and that things are progressing in your garden. Removing that privet will really help as it takes up a lot of nutrients from the surrounding soil.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

What a lovely welcome back.
Removing the privet has certainly helped my borders, now I have big tall fences to disguise and as I write OH is out in the rain building a hard standing in front of his big shed.  This has meant another border has been decimated.  There is a rose a needs to be rescued asap.  I have tried to save other plants to as they seem to be getting very expensive in garden centres.

We have been left with loads of soil that we don 't need, he has already put loads on my allotment. Not sure what is going to happen to this load .

Once the construction has finished I can get going on the garden

Hi Lulu!  :)

I've been gone a while too - life gets in the way of a lot!
Good to see all the familiar names about. It's a bit like coming home to family! :D

IT is like coming home, but I keep forgetting my pass word, but I have ticked the box now ;)
