We've done it again and hijacked another thread.  Apologies slow_worm.  Time to make some horlicks and turn in for the night.  ( For horlicks read gin), but don't tell my doctor.  Now where's that ointment?

there's me thinking I'd have loads of sesible response!  No such luck... would anyone care to offer advice on their 'butt & hose' arrangement?

Ooh err Mrs, the temptation is almost unbearable.  But Like RR, I just don't dare.

Come on you lot, answer the question.  Where's Zac when you need him?

Thanks Shaun... actually I have an old cold water tank in my garden which has an outlet at the bottom.
Maybe I can raise it on blocks... and find a way of connecting a hose to it.

I've got some of those expensive proper soaker hoses, I think they were 15 quid each, in the garden but they don't run well off a water butt. However Wilkinsons sell some for 99p which are absolutley rubbish on a tap (they tend to burst) and I think these would be perfect for running off a butt, you just need a short length of ordinary hose to connect. Anyway I plan to try it if ever I get any more water in my butts.

PLEASE RAIN
