Hi

We have a large walled garden that used to be part of an 18th century estate. The walled garden is quite big, approximately 70m by 30m. It has a 2.5m high red brick walls and is very pretty. It is currently grass and a few old apple trees.

There is an old Victorian greenhouse that has seen better days but is still functional. Also two old raised beds and one set of cold frames with no covers.

There is also a gardener's room with toilet, power and a sink.

Please PM me if you are interested. We would like to see it worked by a careful, responsible gardener. No charge, just a share of the produce!

Good luck with it. Just a thought but you might have more success if you could contact the local allotments - I just took a look and it seems there are 7 in Tiverton run by the town council. Maybe the town clerk could spread the word?

This started me off dreaming of espalier fruit on the walls, with herbs around the base ....  a proper rotation scheme, soft fruit bushes, warm Devon climate  ..............  It will keep me happy for hours ......   

Sadly too far and I cant face another relocation ......
