Went to morrisons on friday phillips 60 watt and 100 w energy saving light bulbs 39 p :shock:
its the cheapest i have ever seen them.

And I thought they were cheap when they were selling energy saving bulbs at 99p each.

Are they the compact ones that look almost like normal bulbs, or those that look like an ugly, coiled up fluorescant tube light?

I went to a disability related conference a few weeks back and one group was giving them away free so I now have several years worth in a draw waiting for the next one to pop.

not sure with out looking at them they are all in my cubored at the moment but at 39 p i dont really care what they look like

get in contact with your electric company most give four away for free as well as other energy saving tip and bits .

I was an "early adopter".  As a result, they cost me about £4.99 each!!! :x   Grr...
