Hi got this recipe from my brother it is gorgeous

1 bottle of whisky cheap stuff is fine
3 tablespoons of sweet basil
200gm sugar

put whiskey in a jug and add basil, leave to steep for 1/2 hour,
pour through a muslin clothe into a blender and add sugar
blend for 60 secs stand for 10 mins then repeat a couple of times until the sugar has dissolved, pour back into bottle, sample the bit that won't fit back in the bottle.
