Title: Cape Gooseberry

I have a cape gooseberry from last year (in the green house) which is still looking remarkably healthy. It has lots of green leaves and now quite rampant and still has ripening fruit on it. Is it perrenial and will it flower again next year or do I grub it out. It has been quite successful and borne a fair number of berries.

They're normally an annual outside, but in a greenhouse they can be treated as a perennial.
They need lots of water throughout the growing season except towards fruit ripening time. And they're susceptible to many of the same diseases as toms to check them over well before depending on them.
