Wow!

We shouldn't believe the weather on Emmerdale then! They had snow last week...

Fantastic example for us all on what one can achieve, it's all coming along in Suffolk too.

Website,
Great pics, you must live in a strange part of Yorkshire my stuff is only half the size of yours what is your secret  :)

Just warmed up the soil under clear plastic sheet a few weeks before planting and used quite a bit of fleece to get things started.  Locally the weather has been very good (Vale of York). The soil is very fertile and I added loads of compost.

Last week, my plot was pretty empty (oh ok, very little in it).  Today, my spuds are just about cracking the surface (whew :D) as are the carrots and parsnips.

Today, I've planted in all my cabbages and sprouts, leeks and mammouth onions (grown from seed - the sets have been in a few weeks now).  Tomorrow is second lot of peas and the french beans (two types).

I've been harvesting my asparagus (had some for tea this evening -  and also the rhubarb - freezing and also made a crumble last night -  :nowink:

And when all that's done - its back to basics - weeding :(
