Does anyone know what this plant is? I have two of them in pots and they look like they might keel over and die at any moment, so was wondering if someone knew what they were so I could try and save them...!

Fatsia japonica.

Plant them out in the garden - in shade and give them a good dose of water.

You and me both Not mine unfortunately. They belong to the landlady so I'm trying frantically to save them or grow some news one from the healthy one in the back garden.

I have a fatsia in a gravel  area in my garden, I love its tropical look, and it has lovely big white flowers in the autumn.   When it gets too big I chop out what I don't want, it is soooo tolerant.   If yours are looking sad, maybe they need planting on to bigger tubs.  regards, Mrs Bouquet

Thanks for the advice However I think it's more of a case that I went away on holiday and they were in full sunlight and haven't been watered. I'm watering them twice a day now but they are still looking very sad and under-loved

Perhaps they need a change of soil in the tubs and a little bit of a feed ?.. Mine are in 50/50% sun and shade, but they are planted in the ground.  Hop[e they get better, regards,  Mrs Bouquet
