mine got off and left 2 welsummer eggs so not having an incy I raced down to Grannie Annies and popped them in hers. Luckily they hatched (along with a load of other eggs that she was hatching), I have left them down there as Annie also had 4 sablepoot eggs to hatch for me (all hatched  ). I will bring them back to mine when they are a bit older.

I still have the other nine eggs she was sat on, they are all fertile but not sure if they will hatch, but not sure how old they are, as never had a broody before, always do mine in inncy as none of my girls have been broody, now i have broodies all over the place lol So if these haven't hatched by the time the others are done i am going to assume all chicks are dead in the eggs.

Just come home and one of those eggs i was talking about has hatched!!!
