Hi can any one tell me how to clip my hens wings as they keep getting out .
My garden is fenced all round 6 foot high but still one or two get out

if you leave the first couple of feathers then when the chicken stands with her wing at her side she still looks complete, remember though to just clip one wing and not both. After they moult then if you still need to clip (although by then hopefully the chicken will be heavier and not need doing) clip the opposite wing to keep the muscles balanced.
