is it worth buying a polytunnel instead of greenhouse?  Equally is a polytunnel likely to stay standing in the bad weather we have?

My 3m by 2m, ploy cost £35 on ebay. Probaly only last two tears as the cover will wear, but hoping another cover will be cheap.

If not, I'll be looking our for a ploycarb greenhouse instead.

I've put my 2m x 4m poly tunnel up on the 4th of this month. Still standing despite some howling winds and lashing rain. I think the secret is to bury the edges really well and tread down the soil after doing it.

I also went for one with slightly thicker galvanised frames instead of the real cheap one (such as my mother bought and has collapsed since). Not a pricey one, but a £90 E-Bay job: http://bit.ly/q4RvBv
