blooming runner beans

Three batches I have tried, two lots of compost and one lot direct and no a single bean, the beans swell and then start to burst and that is it. Nothing more.

I have never I repeat never struggled with runners. Went to get some new seeds and can't find any ??

Someone throw us a bean or two, will try the other garden centre later, can't even find plants or I would buy those 

Sounds like you brought bad beans! I would try a different packet or buy some seedlings cheap at market

I bought some from wilkos and real seed company and they have all germinated

that mini hot spell we had over 2-3 days got them going in a mini plastic greenhouse outside

ive had no problem with mine,grew them in the greenhouse and planted out yesterday.if I had read this earlier id of sent the beans to you but my father in laws just taken them!sod law.

Mine have been far, far slower to germinate this year, and they are growing very slowly too. Typical, as I hung back this year, as they normally romp  away and I have a struggle to look after them until they go out!
