Title: Feeding beets
Post by: Grubbypaws on June 16, 2019, 10:18
My beets are looking a bit sorry for them selves and I want to give them something to perk them up. What is the best fertilizer to use. I have looked at various web sites which all vary in how much nitrogen I should give them. Should I use a low nitrogen feed, a balanced feed or a high nitrogen feed

When prepping the rows where mine go in I use Fish Blood Bone, this is sprinkled a couple of weeks before I transplant and rake in just before.
I suppose you could add some to the watering can and water in around the roots.
