We've just introduced two new chickens to our exisiting 4 girls and they are getting the usual pecks etc from the boss hen especially ....two of our girls are Wyandottes that were introduced to our then 4 girls last summer and they were such wimps  - they would run away from the others if they as much looked at them - took them 3-4 months before they were totally comfortable around the older ones ...however I noticed just now THEY are having a go at the new chickens now and again ...had to laugh ..'bit different now girls isn't it ?' !!!!
