Title: decking

has anyone got any ideas on how i can bring my decking back to its former glory,any thoughts on stripping cleaning and sealing it would be much appreciated

Jet wash and then get some deck seal..... the main building yards will tell you what to use... you can also get a cleaner to remove all the muck of it  before you jet wash

as always, when using a pressure/jet washer don't get too close to the surface you are blasting.  Start far away and slowly move closer until a couple of passes is enough to clean it.  Don't be tempted to go a couple of inches from the deck to clean it fast as any big splinters that are starting, or other small damage can be ripped straight out of the plank.

For the initial clean a good old fashioned broom is good but a proper, stiff bristle scrubbing brush is better.  Try and get into the gaps between the planks if possible as well.
