Frost Protection...
« on: May 11, 2010, 20:45 »
My damn potato plants are too big to completely earth up, so have been tucked up in bed for the night...

I have used anything I can get my hands on.

We've just dodged the frosts around here recently but it does look as if our luck could run out tonight. Bad news for my tatties and runner beans!

Mine got some black tips the first night under 2 layers of heavy duty fleece. Covered them in grass cuttings before last night's frost, and another frost forecast for tonight.
