Garlic from the garlic farm on the Isle of Wiggit are always good..Hard necked garlic have fewer but larger cloves.

Hardneck varieties do not store as well as softnecks. They begin to deteriorate and shrivel within four to six months of harvest.

The differences between soft and hardneck garlic is explained here https://savvygardening.com/hardneck-vs-softneck-garlic/

Marshalls usually have good stocks, for buying on-line but it's cheaper to buy from the garden centre if you can, although they might stock fewer varieties.

Radar is a good one. If you want to buy them in a shop, be quick because they seem to be going fast.  Mail order may still be OK.

I picked some Radar up today at a garden centre, but there was not much left.

We've gone for Autumn Champion again, was well pleased with this years harvest. I find round/globe onions easier to deal with in the kitchen compared to the flat bottomed varieties, the Autumn Champs had good flavour too and stored easily until all 50 were used.
