I just came across this series of articles on milk goats that I thought newbie goatkeepers might find interesting:

I'll have a nosey when I wake up properly, thanks Trillium. This is something we have discussed but OH seems to thing it's not worth the expense of keeping a couple of goats.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and delighted to find goaty threads. I have French Alpine and Golden Guernseys. I LOVE my goats. Lovely milk, yogurt and cheeses; meat from the billy kids, and they keep my land under control. What more can you ask? :)
