Cold and getting very windy tonight.

I've been stuck indoors for days with a virus and then tonsillitis,  but the rain has been lashing against the windows this afternoon, it's nice to be warm and dry on such a day!

I opened the curtains to see one half of the sky black and the other side sunny  Luckily the black was going rather than coming  I haven't been out to check the temperature but it feels mild and the wind has dropped quite a bit overnight.

Very cold and with an even colder breeze. Tactical avoidance of outdoor activity required.

We had a frost, but there is blue sky and sun at the moment.  We seen to have been spared the really cold wind as well.  Its hardly tropical, but a lot better than I was expecting it to be.

There's a brass monkey outside looking for a welding shop!

-3.2 in the polytunnel this morning. Sun is out now but it's still frosty in the shade.

just got back from shopping at Iceland, and its warmer in there than in my house.  CH comes on at 4.30pm.      It has been very grey here today, a couple of glimpses of watery sun and quite cold.   Mrs B

I've had the heating on all day, and not been properly warm (despite a few layers!) and getting colder now- but it is down to 0C out there already

I’m away in N.Ireland for a few days & the day it’s absolutely dreadful, torrential rain, very high winds & f f freezing. It was rather windy as we landed yesterday & there was some turbulence, so glad I wasn’t flying today. Hope it’s better by Wednesday when I fly home 😔

It's very still and damp this morning after Storm Diedre came to visit last night. Looks like she's left the patio table in pieces although the greenhouse is still standing. Some clearing up to do.
