Fraid not. If I hadn't been receiving emails about full Smith periods about our postcode and all those surrounding us, I might believe you that it could be true. Our bit of Scotland isn't on their map!  :tongue2: They won't sort my login details to the website so that I can report it either!

Blight can hit anywhere. There are far more diseases that can hit spuds, aphids are hte big problem in carrying potatoe problems.

I see that's been confirmed as an outbreak, scattered in a crop.

Also unconfirmed at Scunthorpe and an unconfirmed one in the sea!

I note the one in the sea has been confirmed! I think Aygyllie is correct in that this is probably Northern Ireland.

Scunthorpe one is not blight, but there is another unconfirmed one in Scotland - at Eglin.
