how long can you store marrows for and hows the best way and place to store them?

i've got lots that are ready that i want to harvest so the plants continue to produce new fruit, but don't want to waste the ones that are ready.

Storage times depend on conditions they are kept in. The most important thing is to leave a good length of stem on them so they don't rot back to the fruit.

somewhere cool and dry would be best

i have a cool shed, prob the coldest place apart from the fridge.

roughly how long can i expect to store them in there if i leave a long stem on them?

thats great thanks for that link. means they won't go to waste and save me freezing them.
