It's been a lot colder at the start of this year, than last, so the plants are reluctant to come out!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Mine have some tiny little sproutings, they measure about 6 mm across, not that I am measuring them of course !

Psb also hasn't arrived in the organic veg boxes yet which is normally a good sign the veg are in full season.

White sprouting is just about ready with a day or two of warmth. PSB will follow soon.

Do not wish the PSB to be here too soon, it is going to be some time before the \Summer greens and salads arrive

The purple sprouting in the boxes is probably and earlier variety such as Rudolph.

I break off the leaves and eat them while waiting for the sprouting to happen. Just the nice looking leaves, not the tough old leaves.

I sowed 6 PSB last summer to over winter and 3 have come through.

Never had them before but they look like they are about a month away from producing, when they do produce do I treat them like cut & come gain or is crop once only?

Thanks

They keep coming.

You've get a big spear in the centre, then smaller ones on the outside. These will crop over quite a few weeks. As with most things cut young and they'll keep coming.
