Morning all,  Please could someone advise me as to whether I will need to help fertilization along with my cucumber plant? It's 'Ridge Burples' and has a mass of flowers on it - both male & female. I've read that you should pick out the male flowers - is this true or is this only for cerain types? It's in a 'plastic' greenhouse in full sun & is about 4 ft tall now.

This is only my 2nd year at growing cucumbers & last year they were eaten by slugs!
