Lime tree
« on: February 27, 2024, 19:14 »
My lime tree has flowers on it for the first time ever

It’s been in my conservatory all winter, it has just had a minimum of water

I havent seen any flies or bees yet, so I don’t think they will be fertilised, so I I am open to suggestions what I can do

I’d like to try and get limes from it, I’ve had it 4 years now, if nothing happened this year I was going to bin it

(I think I might have scared it with that threat)

It's all about the journey, not the destination

You could use a paint brush to transfer the pollen.  If you search hand pollinate citrus trees you can get guides with pictures or YouTube has stuff.
