I have planted seeds indoors for cabbages and they all have come up so far.

I couldn't resist any longer  . Sown in modules in unheated greenhouse; broad bean The Sutton, salad rocket, amsoi and coriander Calypso.

The thermostat on my propogator has died so celeriac and celery awaiting arrival of replacement.

And the good news is - chillies are not as fussy as i thought!
Had my seed tray plugged into an old circuit breaker that clicks off & needs to be re-set if the power goes out. Had a very short power cut & didn't reset it until I noticed several days later.
Chillies germinated really well!

Well I went over to the plot today and in my shed, under the Perspex window I have sowed Sumer cabbages and also parsley , and put onion sets in modules. Exciting! In a week I will sow tomatoes and maybe the sunflower seeds too.
In other news, the sweet peas I planted in January are starting to stall and I’m wondering if it’s the peat feee compost. I have reported in new compost with added horse manure. The root system looked none too healthy when I was repotting

Chitting broad beans, snap peas, snow peas now, either sowing or putting in modules later this week.

I'm also going to do the same with zucchini and yellow straightneck this week (after Tuesday this week, no freeze is expected, extending to 1st week of April; big risk but its just a few seeds).

only Tomato's hopefully be sowing more seed when and if the weather warm up in the coming weeks not that bothered about sowings just yet only got cold greenhouses

Chillis were done a few weeks ago, but I have heat and light for them. I sowed most of my other seeds just this weekend in modules, like brassicas, herbs, onions, lettuce. They are all frost hardy so once they've germinated I'll chuck them in the greenhouse to grow on until I plant them end of march.
