It'll soon be peak sowing stage of 2020 and I am wondering which is the best (easily available) seed sowing compost this year.
It seems compost quality can vary year on year. Some is good one year, then the following it is awful.
I don't like fibrous compost for seeds, much prefer a more granular type compost.

I'll be using my '3 bags for £10' multipurpose compost from Asda, same as I do every year. I ain't posh ;)

Don’t think I’ve ever used the same compost twice, I drive past a shop and think I need to get compost then buy from whichever shop I’m close too.
Germination failure for me is usually over zealous watering or using old seed, don’t think it’s ever the compost 😬,
