I'm a complete novice at this, I've got some radish and lettuce plants coming on strong that need planting on into bigger pots. As money is an issue, I was wondering how many plants I could get away with in each pot?    The pots are 26cm, the lettuce is Tom Thumb and the radish French Breakfast

You don't normally transplant radish and lettuce might prove easier to thin, but radish an inch and lettuce can do about 2 inches apart at the tightest for some head, for just leaf cutting can grow as a crowd.
