Bargain Christmas trees!!
« on: December 24, 2010, 18:41 »
OK, so i know it might be a bit late notice but i wanted to share this bargain with you!!

Today B&Q are selling all their Christmas trees for 1p!!! yes thats right, a penny! and the Range are also selling the rest of their Christmas trees for £1.00!! (expensive in comparison!)

Might be a bit late to get one inside and decorated, but perhaps if people have other uses this might be an absolute steal

Merry Christmas one and all  :)

Were there any trees in pots that would last till next Christmas? :)

Thanks for the info. Matilda. :D

Anyone thinking of taking up this bargain, please check opening hours with you nearest store before travelling in this weather.

Jamie, rooted trees are always a lot dearer and IMO it would be unlikely that they would be included in this offer.

Luckily, we are almost back to being snow-free again here in kent so travelling is not too bad...maybe i shouldnt speak to soon though!

Not sure if any were in pots to be honest, I was dazed by all the half price decorations and bargain offers, then swiftly pulled away to focus on what we had actually gone to the shops for!!
I think there may have been some in pots, but that section looked quite empty and there were mainly cut trees from what i could see. Might be worth a look though if people are interested over the Christmas period, and i suppose it may vary from store to store.

Alternatively im sure there are many people that have potted trees and would gladly have them taken off their hands after Christmas...
