Dead yeast cells.

Are (or is) dead yeast cells, from wine making any benifit in the compost heap?

Donít know if a benefit but Iíd certainly add them. Only bones donít go in my sealed compost bin, plate scrapings from dinner & any cooked food waste(very little) goes in. The yeast waste would be fine in an ordinary bin Iíd have thought.
