Hi everyone,on my plot i have inherited a homemade greenhouse frame, i'm afraid the glass went walkies. I thought of buying a plastic cover for it but the height of the frame is 76 inches and i would need more than that to secure around the base, iv'e looked on different sites and cannot find one large enough, and ideas please :)

You could cover it with butterfly proof netting and use it to grow taller brassicas like PSB, sprouts etc.
This is what one of my plot neigbours has done and it works really well for him :D

the polytunnel sites sell wide plastic sheeting
this one for example
http://www.polytheneone.com/polytunnel_polythene_sterilite.htm#buy
there are plenty of places that sell them, you may have one locally to save on p&p :)

You can get rolls of 'disaster sheeting' (thick polythene on a roll) from builders merchants quite cheaply. Then you just need a staple gun

Thank's for the ideas im keen to try the polythene, any thoughts on how to make the door, at the moment it's just an open space no door frame or anything that resembles one, having all been stolen. Thank's in advance, hope your ideas are easy,i'm just a pensioner and no Charlie Dimmock :D :D

You could get an old door, or knock up a wood frame and cover that with plastic.

Thank's again.
