We haven't had much rain here either.  We are expecting our first substantial rain (since 2 weeks ago) on Saturday.  Maybe "substantial" doesn't really capture it:  2.5 inches forecast!

Another warm one today. Night time temperatures are just starting to creep up a bit too. Like the rest of you, I would kill for a bit of rain though, I'm having to water far too much!

We need rain!!!!  Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the sun but it is wrong to be watering so much in april.  Not a drop in the forecast.

After a lovely day yesterday, it's all change today 
After an overnight low of 3C - It's cloudy and there's a chilly NE wind.
It's still under 10C in the g/house so the toms & peppers are staying indoors for now. The forecast said there may even be a spot or 2 of rain today

It's brilliant sunshine from blue skies here - pretty warm too. Minimum in the greenhouse was 9 last night and it's 22 in there at 9am

After 2 inches of rain yesterday, 19°C and brilliant blue skies this morning. I moved all of the seedlings back into the sunshine

Lucky you S.P.  I am desperate for some rain here.  On the top of the South Downs 1foot soil, then chalk.  Lovely and sunny, but a strong NE cold wind.  It is like a dust bowl, I cannot believe I am watering plants already

We're watering here too.  Does seem strange at this time of year.  I just hope my climbing fuschia in the corner  recovers  Weeded the front garden last weekend and it was really dry.

Warm in the sun today but a cool breeze throughout the day. Drier than Prohibition outside now though.

We still have that cold NE wind, it's grey and 8C atm - so not very nice at all. Still no rain.
Down to 1C in the g/house last night, so still bringing the tomatoes and peppers back in every night. Those trays are getting heavy now plants have been potted on *sigh*

Looks like another lovely sunny day here. Possible rain tomorrow - which is much needed.

No rain forecast for the next week !    12c maximum today with those cold ENE winds.  New leaves are in danger of the wind burning them, I think it has got my Hydrangea.

2.4mm of rain yesterday and overnight to add to the 2.2mm we had here at the very beginning of April - not exactly a 'grand' total!
