I de-scaped some of my garlic plants yesterday that have put up a flower stalks and cooked them last night for 8 minutes and added to white sauce... They were delicious!!

Ditto that! Having our scapes roasted with a light sprinkle of fennel seeds, cumin, salt, white pepper, with a very underdone slab of tuna....mmm! We leave around 20 leeks in over winter just for the scapes. I believe scape soup is also a winner...

Also good for making/freezing large rolls of garlic butter, which saves your cloves for other things.  Which is handy for when you have cheesy garlic bread munchies (or is that just me  )

never thought of using these , i take it by the pic they are taken off before flowering , ive allways let mine flower as i like the flowers
