As we are getting close to Hallowe'en, does anyone have a recipe for pumpkin soup?

Halve and remove seeds from the pumpkin place on a baking tray with about 4 or 5 shallots more if you want and roast until the skin has gone brown and parts from the pumpkin easily, fry some bacon ( i used the diced stuff from Lidl's) place all ingrediants into a food processor and whizz till smooth,  pour into large saucepan and add a litre of veg stock or more depending on how thick you like your soup and add double cream for a bit of luxory.

I did one with morrocan spices and once whizzed added beans to it, really nice, I will post the recipe tonight when I am back home.

Aggys is very similar to mine, but if I remember you add mixed spice as well.

I would freeze it. If it goes a bit watery (don't think it will tho') just whizz it up...it'll be fine :)
