Horseradish
« on: July 23, 2008, 12:58 »
I've got the grated horseradish packed tightly into jars with vinegar as per the recipe section. - Thank you, it's how I discovered this forum!

But...... I would like to make a sauce from this that will keep, just like the ones you buy in the supermarket. I'd rather not give jars to friends and tell them they have to go and buy the cream etc. etc. Neither do I want to wait until the day before they need it to make them the sauce using cream.

I can't seem to find much on the web can anyone give me any pointers on this? :?

PS grating the horseradish in a food processor was almost as bad as laser surgery was for my poor eyes
=^..^= The early bird may get the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese.
