Hello people, I'm what you call a new wet behind the ears allotment holder , Yes that me , I'm so excited I could wet myself,
Well at my age that may not be far into the future ;), I have after being on a waiting list been allocated an allotment plot :D , I jumped at it ( well not literally ) before even seeing it. I was invited to view on Tuesday and it was ::) love at first sight, Never had an allotment before so a totally new adventure for me , It is overgrown , Has a shed that may fall down at any time , Yes its in a state , Also some raised beds , sadly not made from railway sleepers , only made from what looks like 18mm timber , Not sure how long they will last.
At the end of the plot are , A fig tree , Pear tree, Apple tree , raspberrie bush , These I can see above the 1 mtr high scrub / weeds , Not measured the size of the plot yet , That's on the to do list , That all for now , Hope you are all well and you crops are good ,

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the plot.
Good luck with the plot, some work to do to get it ship-shape, but lots of plus points, by the sound of things :)

Hi there & welcome. Good to have those established fruits if you like them. Slow & steady wins the race remember, no good making yourself ill of hurting yourself in the first few weeks & then being out of action as tempting as it is to get cracked on :)
