Title: Hi

Hi,

I don't have an allotment but I've started growing fruit and vegetables in my back garden.  It's a terraced garden in the Welsh Valleys, which has bonuses and drawbacks - I try to make sure I take everything I'm going to need when I head up there for one thing, which is probably pretty similar to if it was an allotment, come to think of it...

  :)

Hi there & welcome to the site. After 40years of gardening I do an awful lot of walking to & fro to various shed on the allotment to get things I’ve forgotten , gets my steps up though. I do try to load up my wheelbarrow to minimise it but maybe not possible in your situation.

You're right, a wheelbarrow wouldn't be much use in my garden.  :D
