Can anyone identify my Rotovator.

Hi There,

After recently getting myself an allotment, i have acquired an old Rotovator, although im pretty sure its a Howard with a Villiars engine, i havnt got a clue about what model.

Can anyone help???

Hi

What you have there is a Trusty Earthquake

It is quite a collectable machine (Albeit yours seems to be missing a few parts!)

It should have more chunkier tractor type tyres on it

Thanks for that damon.

Shows how much i know about rotovators.......i see they were made by anzani.

Cant really find much info on them on the net, they must be rare!!!

Anyone got a service manual for this model out there, i did check the manual thread for one however no luck as yet!

If they were made by the "british Anzani" company", there is an owners group who may be able to help. I don't know details off-hand, but I do know a friend belongs to them (he's got three of the big machines) if you can't find them on the internet.

I never knew they used the engines in cars - the Squire Anzani ones look very tasty  :D

Anzani used to have an office in Maidstone, Kent in the seventies.

They also branched out into property and building, and outside their reception office, was one of their old cars!

I remember my boss dribbling with envy when he saw it the first time...
