Roast beef today with Yorkshires.
Our frozen Roosters and parsnips to be roasted.
Picked Charlotte new potatoes, turnips, patio baby carrots, hunter/runner/french cobra/sonesta beans.
Swapped a load of cobra beans for a neighbours cauliflower.

Picked a half bucket of strawberries, will sprinkle them with sugar and a drizzle of cream.

Beet green (originally spinach!) and egg curry, rice.  Might see if there is a box of beet curry/bombay potatoes/something else in the freezer as a side dish, otherwise cuc in yogurt .....

Could you imagine the chatter!!!  Any OHs around would leave for the pub ....

Anyway, slow cooker will be filled shortly with venison sausage (butcher was having a two packs for a £5 offer on all his sausages.  Forget the ordinary pork ones, but these are very good), red wine, onions and mushrooms.  Dumplings on top later and beet greens with.  Mmmmm  ...

I looked at the train timetables and had to settle for leftovers, with a few extra veg. Edible but boring  ::)
