My first time at growing them and was a bit late in sowing. They're in the greenhouse but with our funny changes in spring temperature, they are just big seedlings at the moment. Do you think they will crop this year?

Are they up high Goosey?

We started ours on the GH floor but now they're up on the staging, they're getting away quite well, with duck-egg fruits - which are a first...

Always start chillies and sweet peppers at the end of February. The sweet peppers seem to take a long time to produce ripe fruit. Usually the end of August to September.

My various peppers seem to be getting very tall - maybe a metre (3ft+) and looking healthy but so far lots of flowers but only 1 sigaretta growing to a size.  Should you nip out the tops to stop them getting ever taller?

I planted my seeds early march had trouble with germination out of 14 seeds only 2 are growing,still they are only 6" tall and thats in the greenhouse.
So i bought 2 plants 1 banana sweet pepper and 1 red sweet pepper,but the red one turned out to be a bell pepper instead,so sweet peppers have not done well,i will buy a different brand next year.

You might well get something, Goosey, but to be on the safe side, buy another torch..;0)

My various peppers, (Sigarreta, Hot Black, and Bullshorn) have grown strong and tall (all about 3 - 4ft in large buckets ) but I only have 1 pepper growing from many flowers produced and that is on the Sigarreta.  I'm wondering how long a single sigarreta pepper grows? It is about 3" long at the moment should I wait?

The 1 Peach pepper plant is still very small, many branched and not yet any flowers.  It is about 10" tall at the moment, still in a fairly small pot and was the last to pop its head above ground, several weeks after the others.  Advice please!
