my Ollie went to one of these parties at our vets - she was the biggest pup there (and the youngest) and the first to show how excited she was and piddle on the floor within a couple of minutes of the meet and greet

This one is at the vets in Kirton, actually looking forward to it,

just hope I get a piece of cake

He's outside at the mo playing in the garden and a gust of wind has just litterally turned him round.
He is stood there looking around as if to say,

"Who did that?"

So comical to watch.

He looks as though he's almost reaching the head-is-too-big-for-his-body stage. I Remember Buster - being part JRT - did look funny when he was that age! :D

The vet reckons that he wont be one of the chunkier type JR's.

Only got 6 more days left til I can safely take him out.

He will be 11 weeks on monday, the vet said that now that he has had his 2nd jab we will be ok to leave him in kennels if we go away.

I told her, "No Kennels", where we go Scampy goes, which will be ok cos we go camping and hiking. Wouldn't dream of putting him in kennels while we go and enjoy ourselves, not fair.
Not knocking anyone who uses kennels, they are fine for some people, but we all agreed that Scampy is not just a dog, he is part of our family.

He now sits when told, and says please for his treat, 2nd picture

It's worse than being an expectant dad, my OH thinks it's quite funny, like a child that has been given a toy that they have always wanted and be  told you can look at it but not touch for 6 days, good job I don't bite my nails.

He's a little beauty  :)  Puppy parties are a brilliant idea and JRT's are right little so and so's if not socialised early on.  He'll have a great time  :D

I lost my JRT at 16 years and I miss him like mad. I'd never have another one though as he was an absolute nightmare

I'm sure yours will be an angel

I like the sound of that book that was recommended and I think I'll borrow that from the library as I have an 8 month old dog that's giving me the runaround at the moment  :nowink:

He is lovely - I adore puppies - which can be a problem  :tongue2: as I would take them all home with me.  Great piccies -enjoy and take lots of 'baby' photos - this period doesn't last long
