Water Butts

For those in the Seven Trent area, they are offering 210L water butts for £19.99 including delivery here which isn't a bad price:

I guess other water companies might have offers too.

They're slightly smaller at 190L but my 2 arrive at silly o'clock this morning. 1 for water and 1 to use as a comfrey barrel. Nice they include stands and water divert kits too.

Thank you for the tip off, I've just ordered myself a slimline water butt to go next to my newly resisted greenhouse😊

It arrived this morning & Mr S has installed it & been & bought guttering to link up both sides of the integral greenhouse guttering, it's all in & working. How's that for service, now waiting on the water retaining gel that I ordered for free at the same time,I was allowed 2 sachets. Once again thanks fir the tip off

Mine doesn't need water retaining gel to keep the water in.   ;)

I ordered mine yesterday so that I can use it for comfrey.

Double check the tap and back nut are water tight ! I'd put some sealant on the back nut if I were you.

It's really unpleasant to dig into half composted comfrey and a pool of concentrate to try and get a water tight seal - as I found out this morning.

(Yes that probably is me you can smell)

Thanks for the info, Lardy.  I'll ask my hubby to make sure it's all sealed up properly.  Comfrey is wonderful stuff, but it doesn't half pen and ink!  Just had an email to say they are delivering mine today.
