I've had mine, Amsterdam Forcing, in well over a month and nothing yet.  Parsnips went in same time and they a have they first real leaves already.

Think I might just re-sow and keep fingers crossed.   Checked my favorite book and it says that carrots take average 16 days to germinate - so you might be lucky soon sadgit.

I have just today put in some more. The first lot took so long I lost Patience . Raked the ground over and started again now carrots are coming up all over :? . They seem to take more than the 14 days it says on the packet.

I don't think yours are too late hermon, my packets say you can plant up to June for succession.  I think I've had my carrots and parsnips in about 2 weeks and nothing yet. The only ones that are growing are some that I put in a pot in February to see what they would do and the greenery is about 4 inches high on them.
