not showing after 4 weeks the land is warm I've watered them  a couple of times, leave longer or resow? :unsure:

I'd resow. They should come up within three weeks; mine are now showing after sowing the first weekend this month. Did you take any slug precautions when sowing? If not it is possible they have come up and been grazed off overnight. Slugs really like carrot seedlings.

Slugs really can nip off the carrot seedlings just as they emerge. I often have rows where parts of the row are totally devoid of carrots. I cover with mesh, so can't really be anything else, short of a lack of rain. We have had a very dry period, and watering cans don't always do the job.

Mine took over 4 weeks to show but are oooooo.... 6mm tall now!   :unsure:
