If you are signed up to T&M newsletters you may receive an email shortly; I have today, which was advertising all vegetable seeds at half price.

I have more than enough for this year (and probably next year, if I'm honest), but does anyone have any information on what may be worth stocking up on (i.e. probably not parsnips as accepted wisdow seems to be that they don't store well, but french beans? courgette varieties?).

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

How about the good old seed longevity chart?

Thanks for that! I thought I'd read just about everything on the main site. Obviously not; more research is required!

oh... I placed an order for seeds this weekend, used a £5 voucher I had!  I could have got twice the amount  ::)  I held off buying sunflower seeds as well as I decided I couldn't justify the £2 they cost!  (what a silly billy...)

Hannah :)

Thank you so much for this - I'm now all set for most of next year's growing, with varieties that are tried and tested by people on here. Now all I need is fabulous weather in 2012/13!  :)

No worries :)

I didn't order any in the end - I have too much of a stash as it is!
