I was scanning pieces for the new book, correcting cropping etc.

I hope it's about home brew....!? Please?
I want to know how to make the orange pulp wine. Or alcohol in general.

I was looking at a sample of another book by a different author on preserving that's more flashy than yours, it's mostly her flouncing around in a skirt or a dress and hoping that'll help with sales. I hope you're not thinking of taking that up because I love your compact books, I can keep loads (all) of them on my kindle without them taking up loads of space on pictures.

I'm sure the entirety of you, and the bits of you between your shoulders and your knees are lovely in a dress. But it doesn't help me do any preserving or find what I'm after if the books are too big to keep on my device. And I'm flicking past so many pictures I can't easily find things or read a recipe.

I do like your wee doodles. And chickens being happy pictures, but I like looking at chocks.

... pick up a hamper from our local pub, which does takeaways over the weekend!

Take out a huge Rosemary,  - no, not the lady down the road, the one by the path which looks just awful now!

Think carefully about the coming week, as the weather around here could turn nasty, and lots of tender stuff is either out there, or raring to go out...

Aren't we all..:0~

... pick up a hamper from our local pub, which does takeaways over the weekend!

That sounds like a nice treat  :)

I am also thinking about the weather next week.  I haven't planted out too much yet that could be trouble, but the stuff inside is raring to go, as you say.  They could all be playing sardines in the greenhouse.

On the list today are also a plot visit, clean out the chooks and a bit of loafing about before work starts again tomorrow  :)

Give the conservatory it’s spring clean & rope in hubby to help now that the hoards have gone lol. Can only do it on a dull day, which today is, otherwise I roast!

We sat in the beautifully clean & sparkling conservatory  :)

I have been in the greenhouse.  Last night about 8pm I went out and lugged all the veg and flower tubs back in.  Today, I feel like Growster,   I don't know why I bother !.    It is much too cold for me, and my babies, so they can stay in the warm.    But I have been around the beds with some canes and string - why do I bother  ::)

Started brewing rhubarb wine  :D

May I ask is it pure rhubarb or rhubarb and something?
I've been looking at rhubarb wine recipes and found a rhubarb and elderflower and rhubarb, elderflower and mint recipe.

Pure rhubarb with a cup of black tea added for tannin. The next batch will have added extras, though I'm not sure what at the moment.
