Title: Max/Min Thermometer
Post by: Plot 6B on September 14, 2011, 19:32
I purchased one a couple of years ago and now it is reading 30 degrees higer than the actual air temperature.
Is there any way of re-calibrating it as they are rather expensive. It has a range of minus 50 to plus 50 degrees C.

Is it stuck, with a bubble in that maybe is very small and you can't easily see it?

try putting it in the freezer, that will reset the bubble and hopefully fix it ;)

If it is a digital one take the batteries out for a few seconds and replace see if that resets it if its the normal type give it a good shake.
